Transport protection for rollers

The invention refers to a transport protection system for casters wheels, in particular for chair caster wheels. Pieces of furniture equipped with casters, such as e.g. office chairs and the like, are often rolled over the ground during the transport from the manufacturer to the customer.

In doing so, unprotected running surfaces of the caster wheels may be soiled or even damaged. In order to avoid this, we have equipped our twin-wheel casters with a transport protection system. The wheels are thus protected from the outside by a shell provided with a pull-tab, which can be easily attached and removed..
